English: Built in 1938, this eight-story Art Moderne-style apartment building was designed by William Lynch Murray features a red brick exterior with horizontal band reveals a the spandrels between windows above the second floor, square corner balconies in the inside corners of the two front wings of the building, six-over-six windows with stone sills, stone trim framing the front and side facades, four relief panels at the tops of the wings, and an entrance with two large stone panel-faced walls flanking a central storefront and canopy at the entrance to the building. Behind the front wing is a much simpler L-shaped rear wing, which wraps a central courtyard, and lacks the decorative features of the front wing, with only the windows, red brick exterior, and parapet at the roof being shared elements. The building is a contributing structure in the Harrisburg Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
