English: Condensed from the Turkish Wiki: The Kırık Minare Mosque, the first floor of which was made of stone and the second floor of wood, was used as both a mosque and a madrasa by the Kabaklarli family in 1826. The second floor and minaret were destroyed in the great earthquake in 1949. In 1952, it was completely closed to worship. Restoration work started in 2005, but the work was stopped by the Governor Kayhan Kavas on the grounds that it was not restored in accordance with its original form. The Kırık Minare Mosque was finally restored to its former state, with the removal of the plaster that was covered with the original.
